1. How soon do we need to book our date?
The Antique Wedding House is typically booked 6-12 months into the future. Please note: This does not mean every Friday and Saturday have booked up, please call with a specific date request. Saturdays usually book first with Fridays and Sundays to follow. If you are flexible on your date
and package, we can usually accommodate your request. *All reservations require 1/3 deposit of total package with balance due 60 prior to your event date.
2. Does the Antique Wedding House offer discounts during weekdays?
We offer discounts on wedding and reception packages Monday through Thursday. Additional discounts are available in July and August, please inquire for your specific event.
3. Does the Antique Wedding House offer luncheons, tours or business meetings?
We offer several bridal, baby, Red Hat, rehearsal dinners, historical tours, holiday parties and business meetings with an affordable range of menus to be offered. Please inquire for your specific event.
4. Can the Bride and Groom provide their own vendors?
The Antique Wedding House does allow outside vendors. If you choose to book your own caterer, they must be self contained and ready to serve in chafing dishes. (Our kitchen is only designated for our in-house menus.) You may choose to provide your own cake vendor. They also must be self contained and are responsible to set up your cake to your preference. Your own disc jockey is also welcomed. *Please Note: All tables for your vendors will be provided, set-up and elegantly draped. There will be an additional charge for the use of your own vendor not included on our preferred vendor list.
5. When will we meet the minister?
Our ministers and officiants are non-denominational and typically do not meet with the couple prior to the actual event. Unlike the industry's normal fees of $175 to $400 per ceremony, our minister's are ideal in that they are good listeners who can see your point of view and semi customize your ceremony with several of your own recommendations. Your suggestions will be implemented the day of your rehearsal.
6. Can we serve alcohol at our event?
Yes, you may choose to serve beer, wine and champagne and one signature drink of hard alcohol. No shots are allowed. You must book our licensed and insured bartender whose service include black draped bar, assorted sodas, water, cups, napkins, ice and you supply all beer and wine. You may also have your selection delivered from our local vendor. Contact info will be provided upon request. *Please Note: No alcohol is allowed on premises unless served by our licensed and insured bartender. ID is verified and over-drinking is monitored closely. Shots are not allowed. Any deviation to above rule will close down bar at your event.
7. Maximum Occupancy.
The chapel seats 50 comfortably in a Victorian Lace and Tapestry setting. Garden Gazebo setting seats a maximum of 200 guests.
8. What about the weather?
Please remind your guests that the Antique Wedding House is mainly an outdoor setting. Wraps are recommended evenings in November through March; and cooler attire the remainder of the year. We include three high top heaters for the cooler season and allow you to choose to rent additional heaters if you desire. Fans and a mister system are available for the remainder of the season. In the event of rain, we adjust the seating to include our rain proof canopies and umbrellas.
9. What time can the bridal party and our vendors arrive?
Typically your arrival and set-up time is 1 to 1 1/2 hours prior to your scheduled event time. *Please refer to your contract and/or work up sheets. Arrangements should be made to bring all non-perishable items the day of your rehearsal if you desire our staff to complete your set up. Chapel Weddings suggested arrival time is 15 minutes prior to the start time for the groom and 5 minutes prior to the start time for the bride. There are two restrooms for changing unless you have pre-booked the dressing rooms the hour prior to the event. Elopements may arrive on the hour or 5 to 10 minutes prior to your event time.
10. Where do we obtain our marriage license?
You may obtain a marriage license at any County Clerk of the Superior Court Office within Arizona. The minimum age is 18. If you are under 18, you will need a notarized Parental consent form or have your parents accompany you. There is no waiting period and you may be married the same day of issuance. License expires 1 year from issuance.
